Cooking time: less than 20mins

Steam snap peas, broccoli and carrots in a container with water for 3 minutes in the microwave. Rather than boiling them in water, steaming or microwaving them prevents the nutrients in the vegetables from leaching out.


 

Ingredients for 1 serving

  1. 1.5 oz (40g) 1/4 carrot
  2. 1.5 oz (40g) snap peas
  3. 3.5 oz (100g) broccoli
  4. 1 oz (30g) young green leaves
  5. 3.5 oz (100g) pork slices
  6. 2 tbsp sesame oil
  7. a little salt & pepper

Dressing

  1. 2 tbsp sesame oil
  2. a little salt & pepper
  1. The skin of the carrot is not peeled because it contains a lot of nutrients. Slice the carrots into 1/8-inch (3 mm) thick slices. Remove the string of the snap peas by hand. The thickness of the pork slices is about 1/16 inch (1.5 mm). Divide the pork slices into three equal pieces and cut them into 2-inch (5 cm) pieces. Sprinkle the pork with a little salt and pepper, and toss it in.

2. Put 2tbsp of water in a container. Add the broccoli, carrots, and snap peas. Cover and steam in the microwave for 3 minutes at 600 W. At 1200 W, steam for 1 minute and 30 seconds. Check the steaming of the vegetables. Then remove the vegetables to a bowl and remove from the heat. Be careful because they are hot.

3. Next, add the pork to the pan and cook until browned. At this point, do not add oil as the oil will come out of the pork slices. Grill over medium heat until golden brown. Once browned, set aside on a plate to cool slightly.

4. Now, let’s combine the vegetables. Add the young green leaves to the cooled vegetables. Add 2tbsp (30 cc) of sesame oil and mix well. Arrange the vegetables on a plate and add the pork slices on top of them. Finally, add the sesame oil for the dressing and a pinch of salt and pepper and mix well.
