If you want to make this soup even more restorative, you can replace the mixed seafood with minced pork for even better results. You can also add a little bit of grated garlic and ginger to the mix to improve recovery and boost your metabolism. The use of corn and onions also adds a natural sweetness to the soup and makes it taste better. It’s also great because it’s made in the microwave, so all you have to do is put the vegetables in a heatproof container and cook them in the microwave for 5 minutes and they’re ready to go. Ingredients for 1 serving
- 2oz (55g) Green Beans
- 2oz (55g) Onion
- 2.5oz (70g) Frozen Mixed Seafood
- 1.5oz (40g) Frozen Corn
- 1 tsp consomme soup stock
- A little salt & pepper
- 1 tsp soy sauce
- 2 tsp white wine
- A little grated garlic
- A little grated ginger
- 4/5 cup (200ml) water
- Cut the green beans in half.
2. Slice the onion.
3. Put the frozen mixed seafood in the heatproof bowl.
4. Put green beans and onion slices into the bowl.
5. Put the frozen corn.
6. Put all seasonings such as 1 tsp consomme soup stock, a little salt & pepper, 1 tsp soy sauce, 2 tsp white wine, a little grated garlic, a little grated ginger, and 4/5 cup (200ml) water.
7. Cover with plastic wrap.
8. Put and cook it in the microwave for 5 min.
9. After 5 min, It is done!
This soup is designed to be made quickly in the microwave. All you have to do is chop the vegetables, put the ingredients in a heatproof bowl and cook it in the microwave for 5 minutes, so it’s really easy. If your frozen ingredients are still not ready to cook after 5 minutes in the microwave, add 1 to 2 minutes of cooking time. It’s perfect for when you have a late night’s work as it contains ingredients that are good for recovery.
