Cooking time: less than 10mins

This soup is part of a quick microwave cooking series. My friend J👩. sent me some fresh lettuce. I used the lettuce to make the soup🥣. The ingredients are a slice of ham, small tomatoes, and lettuce. I named this soup “Salad Soup” because it’s kind of the same as the ingredients for a salad🥗. I seasoned the salad soup a little Chinese style. By adding a little sesame oil and ginger, it tastes like Chinese soup. Ginger has a warming effect on the body and raises the metabolism. Drink this soup and get healthy!


 

Ingredients for 1 serving

  1. 1.7 oz (50g) ham
  2. 1.7 oz (50g) lettuce
  3. 1.7 oz (50g) green onion
  4. 1.7 oz (50g) mini tomatoes
  5. 1 tsp consomme soup stock
  6. A little salt & pepper
  7. 2 tsp white wine
  8. 1 tsp sesame oil
  9. 1 tsp grated ginger
  10. 4/5 cup (200ml) water

How to prepare ingredients

  1. Cut the ham into one-bite pieces.

2. Cut the lettuce into one-bite pieces.

3. Slice the green onion.

4. Cut the mini tomatoes in half.

5. Put all the ingredients into the heatproof bowl.

Seasoning!

  1. Put the 1 tsp consomme soup stock, a little salt & pepper, 2 tsp white wine, 1 tsp sesame oil, 1 tsp grated ginger, and 4/5 cup (200ml) water.

2. Mix well!

3. Wrap the bowl. At this point, wrap loosely to allow a little air to pass through. If you don’t allow some air to pass through, the wrap will stick to the soup when it’s ready.

4. Put it in the microwave. Cook for 5 min.

5. After 5min, it is done!😉

Point

This soup is Chinese-style, so I put sesame oil and ginger in it. I think adding a little bit of soy sauce to it would make it even better. It’s a very refreshing soup with lots of vegetables and the tartness of the tomatoes. Please give it a try.
