Bacon grilled to a crisp. I added avocado and broccoli to the bacon and dressed it with mayonnaise and olive oil. Very tasty! Mayonnaise is the best. It’s a very low-carb and healthy salad.

Ingredients for 1 serving

  1. 1/2 avocado
  2. 1.6 oz (45g) bacon
  3. 2 oz (55g) broccoli
  4. 1 oz (30g) lettuce (2 leaves)

Dressing

  1. 1tbsp mayonnaise
  2. 2 tsp olive oil
  3. a little salt & pepper

  1. Cut the bacon in half. Then cut it into pieces about 1/8 inch (3 mm) wide. Cut it into the shape shown in the picture.

2. Use half of the avocado with the seeds removed. Peel the avocado. Then cut it in half lengthwise. Then cut it into pieces about 1/2 inch (12 mm) wide.

3. Tear the lettuce by hand. Place the broccoli in a heatproof container. Add a little water and cover with a lid. Cook in the microwave for about 2 minutes.

4. Light a frying pan over medium heat. Add the bacon and brown it. I do not add oil at this time because the pan is coated. If you are using an iron frying pan, add oil. Look at the photo of the bacon cooking. It looks very tasty and beautiful.

5. Place the bacon, avocado, and broccoli in a bowl. Add olive oil, mayonnaise, and a pinch of salt and pepper. Add the seasonings and mix well.

6. Place the lettuce on a plate. Place the avocado, broccoli, and bacon that you just mixed on top. The dish is now ready to serve.
